It is majority black and Mexican with a higher crime rate than Kingwood if that is what you mean by diverse. The crime rate is not bad by city standards just higher than nearby "less-diverse" suburbs. My in-laws live in Atascocita and have never had trouble but people do get carjacked and murdered there every few months and some guys with AK-47s recently robbed the Walmart. On the plus side all those guys were caught by the police. |
IT was also an inside job done by employees.
