I have heard some additional information about the
Intercontinental Plaza land on FM 1960. I have to validate this
information.
This is what I heard:
The developer went bankrupt and died. His son, who's name is
protected and withheld by the District Attorney, is using the
association fees from intercontinental plaza for personal use. Rumor has
it that he builds golf courses for a living in the Houston area.
This was brought to the attention of the District Attorney....who
did nothing. In fact, the District Attorney is protecting this man.
Additionally, this man also has other commercial locations in the
Houston area that are not developed and he is also collecting
association fee money from these locations too....and using the money
for his own personal use.....instead of developing the land.
This man has many friends in very high places that are protecting him and allowing this illegal activity to take place.
